Hello,
My name is Kameron and I am a member of The Sooner Racing Team. The Sooner Racing Team was formed in 1994. A small group of engineering students at the University of Oklahoma were recruited by Professor Bill Patten to compete in the Formula SAE (FSAE) competition. Funded by the College of Engineering, these students formed OU’s first FSAE team. Since then, the team has competed in every FSAE event since 1995 but that of 1998.
Currently, the team has three consecutive top five finishes and sits at number 8 in an international computer ranking system. The system includes all 450 universities around the globe competing in the Formula SAE and Formula Student competitions. Out of the US universities, the team is 1st.
The team hopes to continue its recent trend of success, promote its program and its sponsors, and represent the University of Oklahoma in the largest collegiate engineering competition in the world.
We are getting our car ready for racing season for us and it is soon approaching. The question i have is does anybody know of any business's, people or anything else interested in a sponsorship for our program? Our competitions are all over the U.S. and for the first time we are proud to announce that it will be competing in Formula Student Germany this summer in Hockenheim, Germany.
Here is our website for more information.

If anybody is interested i will keep this forum open and post progress of our build and this years car.
