Okay, so I saw a few boxes with their amplifiers(i'm spelling it out for search purposes) mounted in the rear window. Can anyone give me some tips or have a pics of what/how they did it? It would be greatly appreciated, because my amp is just sitting behind the box and getting scratched up...
Thanks in advance

What I'm gonna do is, wrap the pillar in silver velvet, and do the MDF in blue...

audioformz.com make some nice window amp racks, and u can have them paint them factory color. a little pricy i think if u have them paint them....but their catch is that u have to send in your factory window cover or they will charge you :S

The one I have is alot better for me. becuse I'm gonna be wrapping it in a different color than the pillars. Plus if you get that one you will have to paint the others or have one be outta place...

U screw it to the plastic trim into the mdf . Then u can carpet the back side (side that faces the window ) with black carpet makes the window look like its blacked out.
The only catch to doin this if u listen to ur Fm radio alot u wont be anymore cause the window glass antenna wont pick up stations with this rack or audioforms rack. I have satellite radio so i never listen to fm .

now I have to do something about the scratches...
Blake what have you used to take the paint off Ryan's pillars? I'm going to Lowes today to get more adhesive, so I'll look for some paint stripper for plastic.

Not yet. I did the opposite side, and it came out pretty good. Im going to get more fabric when I leave work. Then depending on the rain, I might try and do it tonight. It took me about 3 hours to do both B, on A and one C pillar last wednesday. So hopefully I can knock it out tonight. but its a B messing with the wires and stuff for the amp because its so big, not alot of room to play with, as you can see from the previous pic...
