Purshased my new 08 xb this weekend, went ahead and purshased the 'port' install of the leather seating, will be installed later...just wandering if anyone else has done this and are they happy with the install ?

Have looked at the dealer installed leather for the original xB. It looks like high quality leather with a great install. Not sure about the 08 leather kits... :ponder:

I would guess it's from the same place as the original kits.

Got my xb back on Friday, here are some pics...Im VERY VERY pleased....1250 installed, included headrest and door panels...

There is no such thing as port installed leather. At least there isn't in my region and I have never heard of it before.

It's all dealer installed around here.

Yeah, my salesman called it 'Port' leather....but the scion manager told me it was a local job.......so whatever....i like what i got.

The dealers in our region just purchase a $650 Katzkin kit and charge the customer another $650-800 for the install. :crazy:

Yea i asked if it was Katzskins and its not. Its made by smoe other company i dont recall the name but im sure the dealer is making a few hindred $$ off me.. but its financed in and easy to pay that way for me....

I have a Super White Gen 2 xB. I also had Leather installed, It was done by an aftermarket company the dealer worked with they had the skins and just took off the fabric and layed down the leather Skin. Took them 4 Hrs and than i had my car back. LOVE IT!!!!

Well it is nice but i was actually a little bit straigher lines and tighter fit...
but oh well.. its just a scion right :)
