About 500 miles after my regular oil changes, my tire pressure light comes on. I get back to base, and check each tire, to include the spare, and they all come out fine. My issue - it happens after every oil change, and it's always about 450-500 miles after I get it done. What could be the problem? I have Toyota reset the light, after they check the pressures. Once in awhile the light will shut itself off, but only until my tires are warmed up, then it comes back on.
I just had my oil changed today, and it hasn't come on yet (hopefully it doesn't).

man ive been having the same problem, but i have a reset in my glove box. dont know if thats normal but its on mine. i have done some reading up on it. pretty much the sensors measure wheel speed to determine if 1 or more tires is losing pressure. well if you hit a pot hole or anything like that, if its large enough it could make one of the wheels a tad slower than the rest for a second. or ive also discovered that hydroplaning will do it too. but thats just what i have found, dont know how much of it is true. but my light comes on anytime that i hydroplane or hit a pot hole. and in guam there are pot holes the size of elephants and it rains all the time so yeah im pretty screwed. if you take it to the dealer let me know if maybe theres a recall, cause its starting to be a pain in the ass. oh i blew a tire the other day and the light didnt come on....

I pushed the 'reset' button like the book tells me to do, and it will shut off for a split second, and then stay on again...

Wow. I have been having some issues with my tire pressue light too. It came on after like a month after I had the car, I can't even count how many times I reset it. I had toyota check every tire and then, they would reset it. After a month or so, It would come back on. I still haven't figured out what in the world is causing this. I know toyota told me, if it kept happening they would have to replace my tire pressure sensors.
