Any chance of selling just the kits? Everything needed for the swap bundled together. There are a couple people local that have done swaps before, but the place they bought kits from now only do full swaps.

This is from another site that supports MENG





The kit will contain everything needed to complete the mod minus Epoxy. JB weld works well for this mod. ($4 at hardware stores)

Kit break down:
- Two OEM LED arrays
- 8 pin connectors (insulated)
- Wires
- 4 butt crimp connects

As mentioned above the kit will be 100% solder free. You can solder the wires together if you have an solder iron available.

I wasnt saying that the photos were of Meng's kit.. I was merely asking if he could add extra LED's so that we could do the same thing.. I dont think its out of consideration.. No discredit to your friend..

And im sorry to say, but your friend wasnt the first to do this mod with reverse lights.. Theres another guy that has amber turn signals in his... Personally I would like my break light to pan when I put on the turnsignal, kind of like the '10 mustang tails.. Along with the reverse light too...

Tony is great about giving the people what we want.. It was just a suggestion/request...

Update 3/25/10:

Good News it looks like we found our replacement LED’s! These new LED’s will be better and easier to install. We know this update is a bit overdue, but we were not interested in supplementing an inferior LED’s for our customer’s custom third brake light (TBL) modification.

Currently, the LED’s are under quality control testing. They are holding up great and we should have a batch order by the end of this month. These LED’s are exact same quality as the stock TBL LED’s.

Those of you that were on the original "interested list", please accept a $5.00 off for your loyal support with Meng Motorsports! And I am happy to announce the retail price for the kits will now be $35.00 shipped.

Finally, the Do-it-Yourself guide will be posted next week.

Dont worry, eventually one of those Oznium LED's will blow out.. You probably wont notice for a while.. But when it does make sure you get the Meng TBL kit with the OEM Philips LED's, which are the SHIZZLE!!! Uber Bright!!!!

Its so bright fully lit, that I can read the lips on the people behind me in the middle of the night "Gawt Damm dat sheotz bwite!!!".. And if you use white on the top left part of the knob, you wont get so much purple on the red side... Another trick is if you want the colors to bleed more, you can dremel out that little spacer between the LED's...
