ok I got this idea from Oznium, after searching their pages for several days, and needing to reseal my headlights anyway I figured I'd add a little color in my lights, so here goes, also as usual I'm not responsible neither is scionlife, if you screw anything up, just try and take your time

for this you will need, a drill, a drill bit, a pick tool, some alcohol pads, and silicone

step 1. opening the headlights there are several DIY's for this, I used a spray booth at work that was on and running set them in there for a little while and pulled them apart inside, how you do this is up to you though

step 2. clean all areas including the leds and the inside where they will be stuck, also check your parts, make sure the leds, controller, and double sided tape is there

step 3. decide where you want to put them and how, best to do this with the leds on so you can decide how to place them

step 4. carefully stick the leds in your headlights as far back as possible

step 5. this is the tricky part, you need to remove carefully, the plug on the end, its easy to do with a pick tool, note where each wire went.

step 6. you need to drill a hole thats slightly bigger then the rubber on the end of the wire

step 7. carefully feed each prong and the wire through the hole, then reassemble the plug.

step 8. seal the hole with silicone.

step 9. test and make sure you got everything right.

I want to see the completed pix. Once it is sealed, do you see the flex strip?

they are at the very top, and in the very back, so no not really, and they are bright, unfortunately can't install till tomarrow and I'll have to just temp hook up till I get some checks and can get the stuff needed to actually wire them

I did a similar thing, but instead of putting them in the headlight, I mounted them to the inside of the bumper, facing towards the headlight. The light distributes very well and I didn't have to drill any holes. Heres the result:

You can see the light also shoots down under the car a bit. That won't look weird once I get underbodies.

well I've still gotta figure out how I'm going to wire these up, and this stuff is around 24 gauge so my good strippers won't strip it
