This is a shot of us (Scikotics of Rochester, N.Y.) at the 1st Annual Hoselton Auto Show back in 2009. Our team took 1st place that day as the “Best Represented Car Club” I (Scott Borden) took 1st place Scion, and Trevor aka Toasty took 2nd place Scion.

We are now sponsored by Hoselton Auto Mall. We now promote them at all of our shows and events and in return we get full use of their parking lots for our shows, full use of their Scion tent, free swag to hand out at shows and we are now working on setting up an agreement to get them to cover our registrations to other local shows.

The team and I have discussed speaking to them about perhaps giving us discounted prices on OEM parts and possibly services. What do you guys think? Is that asking too much? We bring them a ton of attention and business. We are not asking for 50% off, we are just looking for like a few dollars here and there.

Your input would be greatly appreciated!

I think they should allow you to use their lifts if they are not occupied by repairs and should also allow technical help if needed. That will allow members of your club to work on their cars if they compete in autox or any kind of racing acitivites...

That is against their insurance so that is not going to happen. They should offer you at least the same rate a shop can buy their parts for. Usually called jobber pricing, most dealerships do that for clubs.
