the scion has a MUCH smaller trunk than my celica. i need to have room for groceries etc. thankfully the spare tire and stock subwoofer raise up enough to sink my JL12W6v2 into the wheel well but i also want the amps to mount BELOW the surface. basically after the sub and amps are installed i want in non showe situations to throw the carpet mat back over everything and have NO trace of a system in the rear for grocery days any pics or suggestions on a hop capable of doing this. i do have the money to do it right.

well you could build a false floor, raise it up maybe 4 inches and mount your subs and amps that way

There is plenty of room to mount an amp under the passenger seat. This means shorter power wire and just more speaker wire. Thats where I have my sub amp mounted. I've also seen guys mount the amp in the little storage compartment next to the spare tire. Not much airflow in there though and heat kills amps.

I've heard about people mounting them behind the plastic as well, you want a spot that lots of air can get to, or one that you can modify and install a small pc fan into
