its not worth the time it takes to actually do it and to tune it..... i made one for the tc that ended up taking way too long and it only moved the power band lower so it would be hitting optimum power on the highway at 70...... so its hard.... but good luck

Weapon-R is working on one for the box.
Speaking of which...if anyone has any inside contacts at WR, WHEN will they finish testing that bad boy? It looks SWEET!

we are still in the R&D stages. It will be a while untill we can work out some things. Also the picture on the website is not of an XB one.

You mean the intake manifold itself? I know a couple companies made metal ones. You know what the dyno test said the gains were?

Well the tC has a plastic manifold too, so Weapon-R should make one for the tC too - I'd kill for something that clean looking.
The only advantages that the plastic manifold has is that it doesn't transfer heat and it's uber lightweight, which means you maintain lower intake temperatures and minimize weight....which is good.
As far as flow resistance and CFM, plastic manifolds are shit.

Yeah - there's good and bad for both. I'll stick to the stock manifold. Changing the manifold will do crap for you unless you're F/I.
