So, I've been running that icky Hotchis rear bar for sometime now and was given a chance to buy a Progress rear bar. First off the install was way easier then the red thing I had, and second...talk about a beefy bar! So, I took it for a test drive this morning on my way to work and what a difference I don't feel my rearend drifting out form under me any more and I love it.

Ok, I said my thing. Thanks

The Hotchkis bar is larger than the Progress. But I think the Progress is a solid bar, whereas Hotchkis is hollow (which might explain the beefiness). What I do like about the Progress one is that it comes with end links.

What setting have you had each bar on?

The xB bar from Progress, is solid and fixed, but the tC bar is adjustable from Progress.

I took a hotchkis bar used it as a pattern and used one inch cold rolled steel pole for my sway bar and welded it on took about an hour used a torch to heat the pole and bent it in a vice been the best reinforcement I have found. cheap too I used another guys idea off another forum to do this he said it worked great and sure enough it did where the hotchkis bolts on is where I welded the super heavey pole on both sides. I later had to grind it off because of rust and redo it thsi tiem I paid 30 bucks and had it powdercoated and ied up 45 dollars total in my sway bar. I've driven my friends with the progress and it woks great as well I'm just a cheap skate. I think the hotchkis bar being hollow and all just isn't strong enough. Especially for people who drive hard. two thumbs up for progress definently if you don't do it yourself.
