Header Help

i am looking into getting a new header for the car. what do u guys think. is it to loud with a header on?. post video if u have one

sorry dont have a vid but header=rasp. period. There is ways to cut it down a lot by adding larger resonators, but headers, pretty much all of em, will give you rasp. But on the high side, it does give u a noticable power increase. i have megan 4-1 headers and of course the stainless turned purple ish and the engine bay is a lot hotter now, so you might wanna think about ceramic coated or hot coated route, cuz im about to use wraps to cut down on the heat saturation. Good luck, recommend mmw header, like it a little more than mine.

I have a Megan header and I love the throttle response but the rasp is there. It was cut down a bit by the 12" resenator and the silencer but without those ur gonna have a TON of rasp

Headers will give you rasp...but you can get rid of it with resonators or the right axleback. It's worth it imo if your state doesn't do smog/emission tests...or if you know someone that'll pass you...
