No, wrong oil. Amsoil's fine, but that's the wrong one. Use their 5w30 or 10w30.

That will work too. The one I posted up is cheaper though.

mobil 1 it and forget it, there's a reason the high end manufacturers strictly demand it on the exotics

I use Mobil1 0w-20...flame me all you want, but I could feel a noticeable difference in fuel economy and efficiency

Amsoil is better than Mobil 1, but since I'm turboed and have to change my oil very frequently, I use mobil 1 and Quaker State Q Power synthetic oils... They're cheaper and almost as good.

I've used Royal Purple for a few years now.......and was thinking about using it for my oil/trans/rear end change. Anyone have bad experiences with that?

Toyota says 0W-20 or 5W-20, and they prefer Mobil or Mobil 1 (not saying you can't use anything else or they say not to, it's just thier default) The 20 or 30 only determines how well it flows at 0 degrees F on cold starts, and the 0 and the 5 determines the viscosity of it. They use the really thin stuff b/c they have such tight clearances.

Please don't take this as sarcastic, but did you count the amount that came from the filter

3.5 will drain from the pan
.5 will come from the filter.

Please don't give out the wrong information.

The manual says 5W-30. The oil cap says 5W-30. Manual also says you can use 5W-40 if you need to.
