Just a couple questions regarding the installation of this bad boy..I read through the directions and it seems simple enough (everything is always more simple when reading..lol). I had to replace my alero radiator hose a few months back and remember lots of coolant spilling during the removal/install. Is this true with the tC as well? I don't mind draining and doing it that way, but I really don't want to..lol

Also, to those who have it installed, how is your power to the led rigged? I see in the directions it reccomends using a fused switch (which I will more than likely do), but wanted to know how you all have done it for reference.

Oh, and did you just use the remains of your current hose or did you use a brand new hose? My tC is only a couple months old. Thanks..

I tied my LED into my "Night Mood" lighting (inferno kit, under dash LEDs, etc).

Installation is a snap, you DO have to drain it but not all the way. Use a NEW hose or else you'll risk the hose popping off.

Yea the thing isn't how old or new the hoes, I mean hose is, its when you take it of you'll get coolant on it, and it will be slippery. Are you keeping it the same color?

When I say new, I mean never used before, fresh, recently purchased.

I re-used my hose, but replaced the clips with a real hose clamp.

If you are talking about the hose itself, I did not know they had colored hoses. But the glass is going to be lit red if that is what you meant.

I also have another dillema. Does anyone have a ZPI turbo kit and a killerglass tube installed? I have been looking at pictures of the kit I am getting and it looks like the charge pipe will be really close to the hose and I may need that area to flex. I may have to send my tube back if they will not co-exist... :(

I'll give ZPI a ring in the afternoon. Hopefully I can sort this out. I may just have to put the bend toward the firewall rather than toward the front.
