This off the recent Scion Press
Hollis did says that hybrid models are in Scion’s long-term future and even dropped another bomb – stating that all-wheel drive Scion models could be possible. In fact, Scion has already engaged in talks with Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd., the parent company for Subaru, about using its AWD technology. Hollis said that with AWD he believes a sub-$20,000 model could be offered and even commented that the partnership between the two companies has, “just begun.” Could an AWD FT-86 model perhaps be the future of Scion?
Also todays release
Hollis did not mention any time duration for the appearance of Scion's first AWD model. Though, he did disclose that the offering would use an AWD system from partner Subaru. Hollis seems to be giving clues of the possibility for the Toyota FT-86 concept to arrive in showrooms as the next Scion tC
Possibly just possibly we may get the FT-86 badged as a Scion?
Would be awsome
