Just had an idea while at work...

I would like to switch the lighting in my tC's tail lights around so the top half is the brake lights, and the bottom half is my turn signals. I know I have to switch the bulbs around, but how difficult would it be to switch the harness around on the plugs to make it happen?

Why would you switch the bulbs? If they're the same thing there's no point, but if they're different bulbs they won't fit in a different socket. Just disconnect the connectors going to the bulbs, pull out the wires from both and if they're the same colors, just switch the wires.

The bulbs on the bottom are double-fillament, and the top ones are single. I would like to just switch the wires and bulbs...

you cannot just switch the wires, the brake wire has 3 wires and the turn has only 2 going into the socket.

you have to dremel the tabs down a little so the sockets can fit in each other's holes, i did this a while ago.
