Plans for my 06 Xa suspension as follows:

-Goldline Springs (2" drop) [Erica got me a hook up at modacar. Thanks a lot =D]

-Progress Rear Sway Bar (22mm)
* Heard its not really worth putting in the Hotchkis front and rear on so I figured I save a little $ and not have to pay out for labor to have the frint installed. Plus the Progress rear is much better too. =) [ordered]

-Strut Tower bar.... I need suggestions/ideas/advice
* Thinking about the Hotchkis

Wheels and Rubber:

-5ZiGEN FN01R-C 17 x7
-Tires undecided... might go with G-Force or Proxes 4 (Open to suggestion)

Your Thoughts?

theres another nor cal xA?!? Yea!

I went with Greddy strut bar. Mostly because it was Greddy branded and fit my color scheme. Pretty shallow reasons, but for the amount of stress I put on it, I think any "named" brand that isn't ebay crap will work well. Mine does sit back a ways and is straight so it doesn't stand out so much, but over all I'm happy with it. Pretty soon its going to hold up some LED flex strips to light the engine up.

Between these 3 what are some opinions?

-Hotchkis
-DC Sports
-Tanabe

Any one of these I should stay away from?

I have tanabe front strut tower bar. Sharp looking and functional.

I also have a tanabe 4-point front underbrace. Minimizes chassis flex considerably.

I have on backorder the 4-point tanabe rear.

I would suggest you go 4 point when you can. Just makes more sense.

Good choice on 5zigen. Quality. Quality. You can run 19-inches instead of 17. I do and love them.

I have JIC magic coilovers. Very expensive and require a lot of maintenance but I wouldn't trade them for anything else. You should do fine with springs though. Much more comfortable.

Rubber is Yokohama Parada Spec 2

I picked the 17's since I want to be able to corner and really still be able to puch my car in the turns and so I I dont want to loose my driving experince. =D but yea.... 19" would be nice... Maybe a set for show...hahaha... but so much extra $$$ hehe....

I was going to go with the tanabe strut, but I want to maintain a somewhat similar and not too off color scheme, so I went with the hotchkis as I asked a few people today at the scenic rally and they said it functions well... so yea. =)

So this is what I have on order atm:

-apline 9885 Deck and some other audio upgrades

-Progress Rear Sway 22mm

-Hotchkis Front Tower Strut Tie Bar

Need to order tomorrow:

-Goldline springs from modacar

What I would like to do tomorrow:

-Lunch time trip to tint shop for back 5 windows

Has anyone maped out the rear truck area for a maximum fit box?

I think I want to run 2-3 Apline 10" Type-R subs
I want to think about arrangement and placement of equipment. =D

My Current Audio Setup that I installed so far:

- 6.75" MOMO Polk audio MM6 components all around
-Pheonix Gold Octane R 8.0:4 (powering components)

-10" Apline Type-R SWR-1022D
-Pheonix Gold Octane R 15.0:4

-some off brand 2 Farad Cap.

"wtf" is my feelings as well...ahahah.... I'll be a BLG this Saturday so you can see me all stock, or if I'm lucky I can have my rear sway in along with my strut tower...

-Strut Tower Bar avvial on Wed. (2m) =D
-Sway Bar - Friday =)
-Alpine deck - Monday =(

Still waiting to hear back from modacar. I think I'll give them a call around 11-12 today to see whats going on with my goldline springs.

I have a tint appointment on Aug 2nd. in Dublin. Anyone know a good shop to hav tint done in the bay, perferrably south or east bay? I want to try to get it done sooner, but the shop I made an appointment at is supposed to good, so maybe I should just wait. =)
