Awesome guys!
That all looks just fine.
We need to figure out a specfic time to do the raffles and auction too. Of course, I hope that we get lots of items for it!
Will contact the dealership next week again and see what we can get from them.

Also, just thought about this, but will need someone to sell raffle tickets. During the day.
We will be in there until 4pm, so if you can think of anything else that we can do during the day, please let me know.

Games, etc. Something fun to keep everyone entertained.

If you are volunteering and entering your car in the show, you can just send me a PM with your information. Otherwise everyone else will need to mail in your entry or paypal it as on the website.

Also if any of you want to come on Saturday morning (7am-9:30am) to help with parking/directing of the VWs in the building, I could use a couple of people and that will get you in the shows for that day too.

I cant get the Multi to work keeps telling it to short! But i will be there onthe 31st and will help out in anyway i can. Looking for a place to stay that close to the show?

Phil there are about 3 or 4 hotels right off of I 40 Sheraton, A Drury Inn and another whose name escapes me! All in one group and I think Kathy has a block at another hotel reserved for a discounted price!!!

Not sure what the Multi Is PHil but I will check address of Hyatt place and let ya know! If its where I think it is its about 10-15 minutes for YA!!

The location of that hotel is on Stanley road which is 1 exit away so its about 15 minutes for YA! You can access I-40 in minutes and then go east to Patterson ave which takes you STRAIGHT to the coliseum parking lot!! That's a Good thing for ya!!

As for hotel, I have the Baymont Inn and Suites. Online price is $54 and you get a breakfast too. I don't have any rooms blocked off as the rate was just as good this way. This is the same motel i have told the VW folks about too.

I have the address listed on the show page below and it is just min from the Coliseum.

Also, I don't have any cars pre-registered for the show yet and I certainly hope that they start rolling in! We will be extremely nervous for the show if I don't have many. Of Course, they could all roll in Day of show, but still.

If you are working please register if possible to save us time later!!!!! Roll in starts early and everyone has to be in by 8 am I think! Public doors open at 10 am !! set up from 8-9!

Doors open for spectators at 10am, so that means everything inside has to be done! We can't have anything moving once the doors open.

If you are planning just to come day of show, you will be paying $10 more to register your car.

Agent_orange had asked me that earlier and I haven't responded to him yet. Of course that might be same people you are talking about, I just don't know their real names.
Since we are looking at a majority of the people coming in Day of show, will need the help at the table getting them registered. Everyone else that has pre-registered, will already have all of their stuff taken care of.

You are correct Randy. But if you guys can, PLEASE get your pre-registrations in if you haven't already, that way it will make it easier on you guys day of show.


Sorry I have been on this guys, I have too many things on my plate at the moment! :icon_shout:
Anyhow, I will not be at the event as I already had a commitment in Daytona Beach, FL, a VW show of course! Keith will be there and be in charge of everything, but he will need some help with getting the registrations and stuff done. I will get him my book with everyone that pre-registered and the stuff for day of show. It is real simple and I am sure everything will be just fine.
I am going to revise the flyer tonight and take to town with me tomorrow to make some more copies and get to you Randy as with the Dealership and Uptown Connections. My copier is down currently, so I can't do it at home anymore! :icon_shout:

Ok guys, THIS SUNDAY and the weather looks good!
If you didn't pre-register, just come on up, but make it early, so we can be sure to park all the Scions together. You can register Day of Show after you get in the building.

Also, whomever that plans to man the table in the morning. I have explained to Keith how to do my Book, so he should be there as well, but it is real simple. Everyone that was registered for the 31st show is already in there. You guys will just need to add whomever comes day of show.
There are Display sheets to give to the day of show people and you can see how those need to be done by the ones I have already done for those that pre-registered.
The judging sheets are simple, judges just make sure you place the info up top, so when it is back at the table to tally the awards, those guys know where to look. Ie Registration # & class.

Keith has done an auction before, well one time, so He will be the one to make all the announcements, but before he starts, you guys need to tell him what the product is worth, so he will know where to start. Need someone to keep up with the auction items and what they sell for. Also there are door prize tickets too, so lets not forget about those as I am not even sure what Rice has for us. BUT BE SURE TO SAVE ME SOME STUFF GOOD! :mrv:

P.S. For those of you that got an award for showing up the last time, you aren't going to get another one! :roll::icon_tongue: It was great that you guys came up anyhow in the Snow. Keith really likes you guys and I was glad he was able to meet you all.

Sorry I wasn't able to make it, but Keith sent me pics on the phone. Looked like a great turnout!
