I think you're just better off trading in th exhaust homie. It's a toyota, it's still good for a lifetime of abuse.

There is at least one on the west coast with 100,000 miles. Actually I think Ned in Dallas might hve more than a 100,000, he bought his on the west coast when they first came out. He'll be here on the 17th.

Just hit over 30,000 miles with my box this week. Been about 20 months since I bought it.
Nothing to be proud of, but I think I have you all beet. I'm already on my second engine! Blew my first one after 18,000 miles back in July of 04. The current engine was shipped from Japan out of a wrecked JDM xA (mileage unknown). I am probably the first and only idiot that threw an engine out of a box in the US. :wallb:
You may question what and why it happened? Short answer, rod in cylinder 1 snapped, came up and smashed the head. Valves in cylinders 3 and 4 bent beyond repair.
Yeah? my first post ever on Scikotics! :bash:

You all think that it's funny! I just have bad luck with brand new cars that I purchase. Never had any problems with the used cars I purchased (they were crap to begin with).
In summer of 01' I dropped the transmission out of my 99' Daewoo Lanos. Once again I was (according to the dealer) the first person ever to drop and tranny in a Daewoo in the US. I even totaled the car in the summer of 03' and it wasn?t even my fault.
Bad luck with cars just follows me! Same goes for the police; I have the record to prove it.
