Hudiburg Scion is hosting a Scion rally JULY 8TH 3pm to 10pm at their dealership. It is not a car show in the sence that there will be tropies or the like, but it will be a chance to show off our cars and promote the club. There will be free food, a live band, some give aways etc. I talked to the General manager of the dealer and he was talking like those of us in the club would even be getting free t-shirts.
He is dropping like $30,000 into an xB that will be showing at this event as well. He was pretty excited about the idea of us showing up, so lets show 'em how us Scikotics roll!!! If we impress them enough we might be able to get another local sponser. :md:
As for you Tulsa guys, this will be the first dealership promotional deal we have had here in Okc, you shold try to come and help us out. After all we have come to at least two dealer events in Tulsa. :P

If you were talking to Chris then that will prolly be a Fowler deal. I was just up there talking to Chris at Fowler today and he did not mention anything about a rally or promotion to me.?

Whats up everybody. I am here in full force even though everytime i try to log in something seems to not want to work right for me. Anyhow, just to let you know a few more things about what is going on with the Rally; there will be trophies but i did not know for sure until just yesterday evening so i did not posted anything about that yet. We will have something for the best looking TC, XB and XA for 1st 2nd and 3rd place. I am going to try and have a Best Overal Scion trophy as well. We will start the registration at 7:30 in the morning that Saturday and yes there is going to be a lot of free stuff such as the t-shirts etc. The subject of food is up in the air because i might have some vendors come out and set up kinda like the fair with Indian Tacos, Hamburgers Funnel Cakes etc. What do you think about that? If i do that then it wont be free!! Oh and yes the rumor is true about our XB that we just sent off to get upgrades on. It is going to be pretty impressive. I am doing up my TC a little for the show in Tulsa on the 17th but i have not decided how far i want to go and how i want to do it so it will be a surprise for us all if i can get it done in time!! I am also going to be headed up to the Tulsa rally this next weekend in one of my TC's so i will see you there as well. Look me up!!
Thanks,
Chris Calvert

Are there any hotels near the dealership for the out of towners that need to stay the night before or after? The wife and I will try and come in from Tulsa with her TC. The Tulsa Asylum show was our first and would like to come to yours. The Saturday of the Asylum we had no intention of being in the show or that a Scion Club even existed. But when we were trying to find a parking spot outside of the show a member of the club asked if we would like to enter our car and be a part of the action. Every one we met was realy nice and helpful. So Thank you to FrankenScion and his wife for the show and lunch, we would love to be in the Scikotics club. I guess by being a member to the forum we are now members. Hope to see everyone at the Hudiburg Scion Rally.
Thanks,

I'm glad you all signed up! ^^^ Welcome to Scikotics!
You'll love the people here!
Add your names to Tulsa's roll call.
We meet up on Tuesday evenings at the BackYard Burger at 71st and Mingo in Tulsa, if you can make it out there.
If not, just keep checking the website.
:( Jon and I won't be able to go to this Rally in MWC. We will be in Toronto.

There are three hotels nearly within walking distance from the dealership. (but you'd have to cross I-40  ) There is a La Quinta inn, motel 6, and Hampton Inn. Take your choice and pm me and I'll get an address and Phone number for you. If your going to come for sure then e-mail chris at Hudiburg so he can keep up with the head count.

The AmeriSuites 79.00 instead of 104.00 a night. The include a heated indoor pool, fitness facility, business center, hot breakfast and high speed internet. The next on the list would be the Hampton Inn and that one is also 79.00 instead of 89.00 and it includes internet, breakfast, pool, hot tub and all the rooms have their own coffee maker, frig and microwave. The next option is the Studio 6 and a double bed is 61.00 and a single is 57.00. This one has a pool, dial up internet and each room as a small kitchen so you can cook. If you want me to keep looking or if you have any questions just give me a shout.

As for the night before i have nothing going on but if you guys want to get together and plan something then i will try and participate with you. I do know that the we will have a band that will start playing from 7:30 or so until 10:00. It looks like the show is going to start around 2:00 though but like i said it is all kind of up in the air still. I hope that helps

Chris,
My name is Shaun Miller and I just bought an envy green xB from hudiburg scion. I talked to the manager that day about providing some additional live music entertainment for the day, but he is hard to get ahold of (Mike Holliman). You seem to be on top of everything, I have put together a great show that I would like to bring if someone will get ahold of me. I will be at the rally no matter what. I am really looking forward to seeing what people have done to their rides, and meet some Scikotics Club members in the flesh so I can start being active. THanks to you Hudiburg for putting on this rally I think it will be a blast.

Shaun,
They have already booked a band for the evening that will be playing from around 7:30 pm or so until 10:00 pm. At any rate i tried to get them to look at your ideas and see what you could get but they went on ahead without me. Im sorry buddy because it sounds as if you went to great lengths to make up a proposal to show the guys. Anyhow, I look forward to seeing you here at the Rally and i will keep you in mind for the next one.

Ok, I know some of you have been asking about what time this Rally is starting. I talked to Chris today and got the official times. The Rally starts at 3:00 pm and will last until around 10:00 pm. For those of you that would like to cruise afterwards we will probably be taking a cruise from the dealership to 39th st. that night after the Rally. I'll get a better idea about the cruise when the day comes. Also if your interested in rolling to the dealership in a Scikotic convoy be at the Bass pro shop @ 2:30, I'll lead us in.

Well I think Jon has ya covered. Just Map Quest that address. once you get to the I-40 / I-235 Junction you can't miss the place. it's huge, and there is a big sign that stands taller than the I-40 bridge.

It won't be far outa your way to go to bass pro. Its probably a mile or so away from the junction. Just hit the I-40 west cross town junction from I-35 and theres all sorts of signs advertising exits and all to go to Bass Pro.

I-35 to I-40, or I-35 to I-240? If your coming up I-35 to I-40 then the Bass pro shops is less than a mile west of that Juction. It really wouldn't be that far out of your way.

LAST MINUTE CHANGE!!!! Due to construction on the Toyota Building and the busy day i am going to have everyone that can show up between 10:30-12:30. The food will be here at 12:00 and that gives everyone a big gap to wander and socialize with everyone as well as look at the cars. If you need me at the show i will be inside at the SCION STAGE!!! Thanks everyone and i look forward to seeing all of you there.

With the last minute changes of the schedule, I'm afraid I will have to pass on this one too. It's just too much to show up 3 hours before the show even starts. That would mean we would have to leave around 7-8 and not get back home until 1am or so. Maybe next time.

Ok, change a plans apparently. I guess they want us there ALL DAY (if you havn't noticed they changed the times, again). So should we F#%k the convoy and just show up each on our own when ever we feel like it or make the convoy earlier? Who now is still coming even? please speak up everyone, this is way too last minute for us to delay.

Aiight, Aiight people. Work it the way you know how. Ain't been on here in a minute been dealing with baby mama drama for real but its all cleared up now and I'm not fighting for my freedom anymore! Nobody is gonna take my Scion!! Time to parlay. Sorry we ain't posted in a minute we appreciate you guys having our promo team out to kick it with yall in unfamiliar territory. We have to say everyone we spoke to was quite helpful and we made some cool ass friends at the same time. We haven't been able to kick it much on the car club tip due to us being a regional marketing and promotional company contracted through Scion and URB Magazine. We had alot of cool ass things to report back to our management including pictures of some of your winners and sponsors. We are currently working on the Scion King of the Beats Competition (Flyer and Info Above) with the other Scion people from Cali that are responsible for the Music and Arts side of things we are involved with. We have a mad busy weekend ahead of us during the July 8th Rally here in OKC with summer concerts in Dallas and Austin but if we dont' make we definitely see in Roswell, NM. We will always keep the this car crew updated on the culture side of things as it is our duty for this region. Peace, Love and Equality!!!

Guys you can come whenever. The only thing that i was concerned about is that everyone was planning on showing up at the same time so i was trying to get the ones that are able to make it come a little early to help out the traffic. The show is from 3:00 to 7:00 and then you are free to leave after we present the trophies. After that we are just going to have a band playing for your entertainment but it is not anything that you are going to have to stay for. If you cant make it until 2:30 or so then i completely understand. Also if you need to leave right after the trophies i understand that as well. The Judging will start at 3:00 pm on the dot so if you have not registered by then we cant judge you car. The actual show is only 4 hours long!! I sincerely hope that you guys will change your mind and come on to the show and if you cant i do understand. My sincere apologies if i have upset anyone over this but this little change was not my idea. The boss was hounding me about it and so i had to do it. I hope to see most of you guys there and if not i will see you at the next show.

Okay, I will be there by 2:30 for sure. I'll get there earlier if I can. A 4 hour show is cool. So who is actually coming? I wanna stay late if I can cause I've got lights to show off.
I definitely want to see those lights, I just bought a 7 color led kit (won't be in till tuesday, too late for the show) :( .

Sorry to Roger and the guys in and around OKC. Would have liked to come up but too many changes with this show. Maybe next time and good luck to those who enter.

Hey man, don't sweat it. I'm sure a lot of us that actually went were kinda weary about this show as well. We couldn't blame you for changing your mind, I wouldn't have come if I had to drive that distance.
Final score!!!
1st place xB - Robert ward (trebor)
2nd place xB - Mafia Mike
1st place xA - Cody (scionpilot)
2nd place xA - Roger (Zumie xA)
3rd place tC - Shana (ShaeFaust_TC)
Best of show - Robert ward (trebor)
Congrats to all our winners and thanks to every one that came out to support us!

Sorry I couldn't make it... Work sucked hardcore. I was held there untul 5'ish due to the Pirates of the Caribbean craze, and then got off and by the time i got home and changed it was 5:45 and by the time i got to midwest it would be 6:20ish. Didn't seem worth it for 40 minutes.

For all of those that made it out I really do appreciate it and for all of those who did not i wish you could have. Next year we will be doing a lot of changes to the show and the main one being we will be doing a lot of our planning with Roger and the rest of the OKC Chapter a few months in advance. It was a pretty good turn out though despite the dis-oragnized mess. I apologize again for the constant changes but now that we have learned it will be different next year. As soon as i get the chance i will be posting up pics of the show in addition to the ones that were already posted and i will also be posting pics of our XB. It still has to go back under the knife one last time but its almost there.
Thanks again to everyone that came and next year it will be bigger and better. More Trophies, more events throught the day and a few more live bands. Maybe we can sneak some liquor into those frozen drinks next year too  !!
Thanks Again Everyone
