Hello everyone and thank you for looking in here.

I am getting set to send my tc off to the body shop in 2 weeks I can not wait. I have a BCP and am thinking of doing a 2 tone paint scheme. My question to you all is what should the other color be? I am only going to do the upper portion of the car from the windows up, top of hood and trunk.

This is the first time I have ever put a car project in the hands of others, so please dont let me down. j/k but please help.

Thanks in advance for any ideas..

~Tim

First colors that came to mind was an orange or a cherry red.

I think a creamy off-white color would look good on the top.. but then it would make it seem pretty girly....

I think black is too dark.. hmm... hard to say with BCP...

I really like Nick's pearl white suggestion. I don't think it would be girly at all.

This has been the hard thing I have been pondering for a while.. BCP is a really hard color to 2 tone with.. I was going to repaint the entire car a mango orange but I fell in love with the BCP color and cant bring myself to change it completely..

If there are any photshopper who can change the upper color to an off white or a pearl white heres a pic please chop it up..

Well if your gonna do the top only... I think the top should stay a dark color... reason for cuz you have black roof and if your tinted or plan to tint youll have black glass too

Interesting thought there Keith... HMM makes me wonder, would black go well with a bcp bottom though..????

I'd say a dark grey w/ a silver pinstripe would accentuate the cherry pearl nicely.....that's if you want neutral colors.

You've seen both paint jobs on my car...I went from neutral colors to wild....

IMO...brighter colors help the car stand out at car shows but then again so does a custom paint jobs so...eh....

You know what I did see a BCP xB that had the top half black w/ a thick silver pinstripe (instead of a straight pinstripe...his zig-zagged towards the front)...I thought it looked really nice.

Not too sure if that silver pinstripe would look good on the dark grey since you probably want it to stand out a bit....

Well honestly since Keith went a mentioned doing the upper portion in black and tinting the windows (which I will be doing) the Silver pinstripe prolly would go well..

I've been considering something pretty basic for mine... (BCP tC here too) and silver/dark grey was the first thing that came to my mind too

The orange makes it look like Eddie's. But the bottom of his is blue.

I like the separation.

Car is doing good, down in TN now so the weather is beautiful! I have some ideas but I think these kinds of decisions/ideas should come from the owner, use that creative side!!!

Brian I agree with you it should come from me and be something I like. But my creative side has hit a dry spot and I can't think of anything. Throw some ideas to get my creativity back in gear so I could decide on something myself. If you dont mind... Thanks B.
