Whats a general good price to get lowering springs installed? Springs are cheap enough, its the labor I'm worried about.

I have no idea what install costs. Almost everyone I know has done it themselves.

You should search around for the springs you want. I had my buddy help me install the ones I bought offa Ed.

I'm torn between Tein, Hotchkis, and this one company called TS (they're bergundy!)
Krdshrk

Teins will be the cheapest.
Hotchkis are pricier... and harder to install (They're a LOT stiffer).
Never heard of TS

I don't know about those ebay ones... They are Canadian, nothing good come out of canada. Bryan Adams and Celine Dion for example. :rofl2:

Looks like Tein S-Techs... Cheapest I found them for are $150 including shipping and may get a discount because they're a supporter.

But how do they feel in comparison to stock?
Krdshrk
06-01-2006, 11:22 AM
They have close to the spring rate that the TRD's have so they'll feel like mine.
The ride will be worse over bumpier roads since they're stiffer... and on some bumps you'll feel like the car will want to lift off the ground, but otherwise it's a much better feeling.
Lower stance, better cornering ability, better feel of the road...

I'd be weary of any Tein springs on eBay... there were a bunch of fakes spreading for a while. There's a thread somewhere here or on SL about how to tell the difference, but I'd avoid eBay ones for a while if I were you.

Enjoy the springs. I bit the bullet and spent a ton on a new system for the tC and also treated myself to a new Macbook. I do need springs though. Maybe next check.

I just picked up a flex bar at strauss... how much different is that from a breaker bar (other than length they look the same).
