loud and raspy exhaust... help!

so i just got both strup exhaust and headers installed on my 09 xb and the resonator taken off. yay!!
the only problem is that its loud and SUPER raspy. havent gotten the CEL eliminator yet for the headers, but im working on that.
and tips or suggestions on how to tone it back just a bit?!

try putting the resonator back in. all headers will create rasp, espicaly now that youy have no cat no resonator and a less restrictive exhaust. I used to have the loudest most raspy exhaust and I had the stock resonator welded back in and it realy toned down the rasp, not so much the loudness. now i have the stock header in and its realy quiet its kinda nice lol. good luck

resonator for sure. i'm about to get headers/s-pipe for my tc and going to get the flowmaster 'hushpower' resonator as it seems to be #1 used to get rid of rasp
