i have a new hu coming in on thursday, and with some free time today, i got bored so i went ahead and installed the installation kit(since the new one is a single din)... im just hoping the flip out monitor wont be at 2 much of an angle

you may have to do a little tweaking to the kit if the door doesn't close.

the door closes now... with no head unit... and from the looks of it.. theres enough room that it will close when the hu is in it... atleast i hope so.

well with no HU in it right now there is no way you can tell. When I put in my old single din HU the door would hit the volume nob. Just have to have the kit forward some so the HU sit further back.

with most flip out players that i have seen you just have to drill the a hole for the brackets bout half inch back...or however much more room you need...
if you need some help let me know, i have some pics on my camera that i meant to do for a write up but i just havent done it yet and i also figured there were enough on the SL tech section...
oh yeah :mj:
