ok ive had a bad moisture problem since i fist put my halo projectors in. well today i baked them, painted the black housing, removed the reflectors, filed the shim behind the projector down for a flat beam, baked it, put em back on, and went to the car wash to test em out. when i baked them when putting them back together i filled the entire channel that the lens sits up with silicon and after baked i put a layer around the entire seam. well after i sprayed my car off i ran to my cousins house, got out and checked em and had no fog. well, when i got back home 15 mins later i got out all happy that they were sealed and lo and behold on both headlights there was a little bit of moisture in the corners by the high beam reflectors. can anyone help me out with this problem????

the moisture has ruined a set of hid bulbs ive had for no more than 3 months and i just ordered my replacements and dont want to keep spending $50 on new bulbs every few months.

Which set did you get I know there are two different sets one is made by Anzo and there is another one, both sold by fastscions.....

I heard the same thing about the silicone and I am glad this was brought up cause I was going to ask about this...lol

So with the silicone do you still have to bake it and take it apart or do you just put it around the seams before putting them on?

I don't know if this applies since u had them apart, but mine have 3 plastic covers that I had to take off the back of each one. They are for vents that are in the back. It took them a full 2 months after I removed the plugs for the air to equalize in them and the fogging to stop, but every once in a while they still do if the weather gets especially extreme.

well they are ebay headlights... i went the cheap route for the exact same product. but i baked them and took them apart and put the silicone in the channels then around the seam after i put them back together. heres a pic of what was done. when i decide to drive my car at night again ill also post a pic of the moisture when i have the problem again.
