welli messed around in photoshop ad fell in love with this car. so im gonna model my car after this one

i extended all the lower body panels. and warperd em to fit like the real deal. and i added a panel/roof on the car.
vented and modeled the grill after the gti. and raised the hole.
there would be a big ass intercooler in the middle but i couldnt draw a good one.

That seems very ambitious.... wouldn't it be easier to but a GTI and paint it?

uhm no - no one should ever buy a GTI.

I like the idea of a panel roof - I have been so tempted to start one, because that glass roof weighs a ton. I already figured out how to remove the roof...just gotta figure out how to put a steel panel in there.

As for the roof, Kaminari makes a CF Roof - not cheap though.

the GTI handles much better than the tC, it's quicker too.

but ugh, the transmission feels like it's on a bus, it was enough to completely turn me off from the car when i was looking @ new cars. it was like CLICK/1st. CLICK/2nd. CLICK/whoops, didn't make it to 3rd, let's try that again. CLICKCLCLICKCLICK/3rd. it was disgusting.

i like the vent in the rear of the side skirt, but the front one seems overkill.

but yeah, it's great otherwise, the tC makes a good 2dr/no backseat :idea:

edit: the car almost looks like it's mid engined like that in fact.

Not quicker than mine - running same boost with 40whp more.
Mine handles better too with my suspension upgrades.
Oh, and car cost+turbo cost+suspension costs= less than $20k.
VW can't even do that.

I'm pretty sure the tC is lighter too.
