Hey Sciko Fam

I was wondering if anyone has HID fog lights? My headlights are currently HID's but I'm not sure if I need a special kit for the fog light conversion. Where does the ballast go?

also

should I just try to find bright yellow bulbs and ditch the HID fog light idea?

Ideas? Suggestions? Thoughts?

Thanks

Ah ok...lol thanks Rando

Original Poster: Well in that case should be pretty simple if you want HID's in the fogs you all you need is an H11 kit ( I personally think 3000k are best) and you can use different locations for mounting them.... lower headlight supports, rad supports, man bascially where ever you really wanna put them...or for that case where ever you find a spot in the fog light area... lol

hope that helps!

Hmm..seems pretty straight forward. I was more concerned about the ballast getting wet. I think one of our sponsors has a set that's apparently water proof for $85. Anyone know of one that's water proof and cheaper?

and thank you gentlemen :icon_yes:

If it helps any I got my kits from www.hidextra.com (http://www.hidextra.com) and their ballast are waterproof and they also have slim ballast which will help you mount them in tighter spaces.... Also if you're an active member on Scionlife forums they have a discount code where you can get them for like $60 I think....

Thanks a lot Jay. I'm not an active scionlife member but I'll check this brand out. Sucks they don't sponsor Scikotics.
