My xA is a daily driver as well as a runabout on back roads.. have just enough bass with the factory 8" Bazooka and stock unit, and the SSP for the xA was always the tC/xB choice on stock h/u SSP car setup..
Have 2in drop f/r on Tenzo-R progressive springs since the added drop w/Echo front struts installed has front lower I'm also considering bags-o-drop.

our motors can handle up to 6 psi stock, sadly its only 2 psi under what can blow the motor. Pushing the motor is just asking for trouble.

Now if you rebuild the motor with forged rods/pistons and some machine work, then you can safely get to 10-12 psi and really show what the egg can do but you also need a upgraded clutch, flywheel plus a proper tune etc.

I will be adding a turbo the egg next year, but i am going to buy another motor so i can still drive mine while i build it.

You can get any stock turbo and use it on our xA. Most stock turbo run 5-7 psi. Try and get a t25/t28 as most stock car come with them. You can get them cheap as most stock turbo cars are either upgrading to a bigger or single turbo. Also, try and find one from a jdm car (sr20det from sylvia or 2jz from supra) as they are ball bearing (quicker spooling time).

started my collection: turbo manifold from a revhard kit, t28 ball bearing from a ca motor (jdm nissan ca motor) and a blow off valve from a 1g eclipse. my problem now is if i should go turbo or just some bolt on and call it a day.

Sorry iw as at Asylum, yes it helps by grounding the engine better and the nology wires produce a hotter spark which is a more efficient fuel burn :)

finally someone who knows what offset means, looks damn good, you should ditch the tanabes and get some coilovers so you can be slammed with your low offset to complete the look

Nice offset/lip on you xA, DwightS. I could'nt afford tho I wanted some slotted reverse old school. cost is high, so I found a set of used Drag DR-16 (7x15)wheels, added 1.25 inch spacers on rear and 15mm spacer rings on front. Stance is same on front/rear. Dropped with set of TenzoR Progressive springs. Rubbs on drivers side over speedbumps and RR Xings. Guess I'll need camber to go lower on rear.
Love the cornering and handling w/rear swaybar.

I've had it a year. The fumes were bad for the first couple of days but after that it was fine. It takes ALOT of patience to not rush it. You have to sand prime and then coat. If you don't it will just chip (even with the plastic paint). IT's still under construction but I've several cars in my life none of which were this easy or this fun to modify. I just wish I could fit a 2jz motor in it. LOL

Seen lots of stock xA's and I think our chapter has two more besides mine....but none are black...most xA owners either have traded out to the xD/xB or tC. I think it's due to the lack of available mods designed for the xA :(

Going to two tone my xA once I finish some body work. I need to fit my aftermarket fenders. Make my custom side skirts. And work on the front bumper. No biggie lol. Prob won't see paint till march or if I can get in my cousins spray booth that will work.

I have met Chuck a few times too and his Egg is beautiful. He is a great guy too and has done all the work to that car by hand, even the camo paint job you see. You should see his bucket sub also and yes it sounds incredible!! 47542

Yea it also ported and screwed into the floor panel too. It is creative and sounds good. There is always something new done to his xA every time I see it. But it wins awards and looks great.

Naw he doesn't go tl asylum that i know of. He is from Arizona so he mostly sticks to the west coast. I know he is doing a show in Texas this year and possibly coming back up here to Vegas for a show. But that's the only two shows i know of that he is attending this year.

love the black sand mica, looks like good start. Followed same beginning and now happy with my daily driven xA..
First wheel mod I did was to can the wheel covers and install chrome rings and lug nuts (nuts to designate maleness)haha!!
Spacers also help with wheel flush, now that the gap is gone, and for that rollercoaster rail feeling the rear anti-sway bar really made a difference. Good luck and dont rush, not alot of mods for the xA available, havent modded on mine for 2years now-gwarrr...

Yeah the rear wiper delete was a must. I finally of around to filling in that hole and the key to clean the hatch area up since I had some flint mika paint.
