I have 09 xb, what is the wattage that the head unit outputs? Thinking of getting an amp, but wanna make sure I get one that is more then what is already being put out. Thanks.

I'm not sure if it'd be the same for the B but on my 09 tc, I'm thinking the premium is 150?

What wattage are your referring to? for the door speakers? if it's the door speakers than any aftermarket amp you buy is gonna be far more than your factory head unit. i have a JL 300/4 and it makes a huge difference. what are you going for better overall sound? i mean you don't need anything crazy to get better sound out of your factory door speakers. what any car speaker is always lacking is power. so even putting a "small amp" on your factory doors with sound pretty good.
any other questions feel free to hit me up.
Referring to the output power of each channel of the head unit.
I replaced the front door speakers with Focal polyglass speakers 140watt max.
I have 2 alpine e10 subs powered by Alpine MRP-M500 amp
I am wanting to make sure that the subs don't over power the front speakers.
Thinking of getting this amp for the door speakers..

Just wondering if its going to be enough, or should i go with a little bit bigger amp..

You should be fine with the amp you are looking at. the only way to make sure the the subs don't over power the fronts is to make sure you tune everything properly. Now if you want a lot of bass then no matter what front amp you get the subs are always going to over power the fronts. just make sure when you tune everything it's well balanced and it'll all sound fine.
Sweet..might just go pick it up today then. Thanks for the information...
Yeah i dont think i have it tuned right.
Right now i have just a Qlogic box with one of those alpine 10s...
Today me and my brother are installing the new box, amp and possibly that other amp.
Will post when finished.
Thanks for the help and info
