I am restoring some wheels. They are 3-piece wheels and I am going to change width and offset while rebuilding them.
I have designed the new outer lips I need to fit these wheels, but I need to locate a shop that can make them for me.
I have seen these lips made from stamped aluminum and CNC machined aluminum so I am open to shops that can do either. I can provide drawings of exactly what I need made.

I'd do a search online for machinist shops in your area, if your doing much and its custom your going to pay through the nose, if you went to the local technical college you could ask the instructor of the machine shop who would do it, do it right, and who might be able to do it without it killing your wallet, I'd see if I could get in good with one of the cnc operators though if I were you

Like the others said try to get a vocational school to make them.
We run cnc machines along with everything from modeling to NC code generation to fatigue analysis using CATIA. I cant even quote you something as were backed up over a year with projects currently.
If you doing just wheel like objects try to find a place with a cnc lathe not a milling center. The right tool for the right job.
Good luck, let me know if you need any advice

Yes we have all of that capability here, using either Catia or ProE, even CFD work with Ansys.

Because like Killerglass said way to much work as it is, one or 2 things here and there for some local guys is one thing. Opening it up and saying send me whatever you got is a big can of worms, someone could make a very successful business for themselves doing it though.

Cool, when I get the drawing finished up and I am absolutley sure it's gonna fit I will give you a shout, J3ST3R.
I just need some lips made for some multi-piece wheels. It will be a lip with a large bolt pattern in them. And of course I'll need 4 lol

Jester could you do some small items for me? I want some decent center caps for my wheels and the only way to do that is cnc, would be near impossible on a hand lathe
