20" Wheels

Can someone tell me if I will have to do any mods if I put 20 X 7.5 wheels on my box? Also what size tire should I wrap them with? 30 or 35 series :?

20s are overkill man. 19s can look pretty good, but 18s are probably the best for an xB.

ok youll probably here different things on this, for one it depends on what kinda drop you wanna run, the lower you go the more trimming and cutting usually. The easiest combination of wheel and tire to put on an xb would be a 20 x 7.5 45 offset and a 225/30/20, you can run the 35 series tire but it requires a little more trimming, in the front you have to bang back part of the firewall that comes out and also depending on how low you are do some fender well trimming, in the back i removed the back plastic mud flap thing, and i also had to roll the fender wells a little to stop it from rubbing. I put them on and ever sense ive been doing little things to make them fit better, its gunna rub lock to lock and probably rub on really big bumps. Hope that helps.

20's overkill nah! this is a pic from ames 3.0 i was riding around that low in the back, as long as i took it easy on corners and big bumps no problem ive raised it up sense, it did leave a couple of rubbing marks inside the wheel well but no harm done. If you wanna do 20's do them they look sick just make sure your lowered, i hate the 4x4 look.

i've got 18's and i can't lower it untill i get new front tires.

That looks tight! I think I will stick to 20's. Not too many people are ridin on 20's here in SA...its all about being different..right?

It's all on how YOU like it. Some peeps prefer different sizes, I myself like the 15's and lowered. Some peeps can make 20's work as you can see by Greg's picture posted, now that's sweet. You will hear different opinions on this subject, but the best remarks will be when you post a pic. But whatever you do, let it be most importantly, what you like. :up: :up:

yeah i'd go with 215/30/20
