Air Brush hood idea?

So I am think about doing this this spring and I figured I'd though it out there and see what you guys think.

Curious to see what kinds of responses I get back:

I would kill the drop shadow on the lions head and maybe go a little further on the "fur" [?] concept and stylize it a bit more- like make it fan out more in a ripped look or make it more detailed.

Thank you very much for the input. Yeah since it's gonna be air brushed u figured it would fade and there would be no shadow. I was also thinking about having it ghosted or maybe just a little ghosting...

yea listen to that guy he's a graphic designer lol. sorry trevor i had to throw that out there. but i too want to get my hood airbrushed. i think it looks good but i agree kill the drop shadow

Im thinking make the eyes glow red instead of yellow eyes. Im also thinking maybe some true flame for his mane of hair. I think that would be really custom stuff right there. Let me know what you think about that, maybe you can photoshop that to get an idea of what it would look like. But I like the idea.

Thank you for all the ideas so far. I'm not a designer or photoshop person so I'll have to see if I can get someone to do this for me.

I'm actually really surprised that at this point there are more NO's then YES's.

Any other comments would be greatly appreciated.

Ok just messing around for like 2 mins, you get the general idea, the hair would go in the correct direction of course but otherwise it;s close to what was suggested.

i dont think the fur on the mane should all be going the same direction. it should go the direction of the side its on. example left side the fur brush out to the left etc.

I don't have reversed brushes in PS atm, as i just reinstalled it. Was just giving a general idea. =)

i would just airbrush your stock hood and keep the CF one that way you can just change them have one for daily driving and one for show its not like there hard to swap.

Thats my plan but the stock would be for daily driving and winter.

I think the contrast of the pic of the cf would work ... maybe??

Thanks man, thats one of the cooler car photos i've ps'd, and actually you could get a vinyl or sign shop to cut that image and it probally would be cheaper and a overall better job. When i think about it i think theres a place that specializes in vehicle wraps in cranston. I remember driving by it not too long ago, but don't ask where it was im bad with directions haha.

i was very iffy about the first picture but the one with the entire hood looks better imo.
