cutting my fender

:thx:well im thinking bout taking off my fenders front ones and cutting the out line of skulls onto it and putting some LEDs behind them would this due to vibration and wheather make my fender crack?if i posted this b4 sorry:thx:

though i've not tried what you describe, as a mechanical engineer, i would say that stress cracks/fractures will probably depend on a few factors:

A: the pattern that you are going to cut out.
B: the size of the pattern you want to cut
C: method/tooling you use to cut it out.
D: whether or not you cut any sharp corners. (radiused corners will be your friends!)
E: whether or not you put some backing on the cut outs.

(i might be over-analyzing here but i'm an engineer....that's what i do...lol)

There are several ways to do that and make it look nice. Plasma, Water jet, or laser cut will be the best. It shouldn't misshape the fender, and the only cracking problems you should have is if the fender flexes or gets dented (in which case you are screwed anyway).
It would look great, but it ain't gonna be cheap, and unless it is cut by a machine, I don't think you'll be happy.

well i want to have it plasma or laser and as far as a backing i would but thin plexi glass or some thing mounted on the patern would be half skulls on each side the half cranium on the right with the eye and jaw on left and left cranium with eays and jaw on right:left1:
