Scion tc Donut Lugnuts

I have a 07 spec package with the donuts and then a buddy hooked it up wit the stock 17"s. He didn't have the stock 17" lugnuts and I am using the lugnuts from my donuts. Does it make a big difference and would it have negative effects in the long run?

... I didn't get lugs with the donut tire.... the are they the standard large size lugs that scion has? You should be fine.
