tC "scion" trunk de-badge??

So I de-baged the tC logo, and I was thinking about doing the "scion" logo as well!!!

What do you think? couple people were telling me they dont like it, that it takes to much away, aand others say they like it alot, its clean and makes the "STEALTH" plate stand out!!! I like it because it DOES make it look clean, and I was also thinking about tinting the 3rd brake light also???!!!!

Well I photoshopped it for now to see what it looked like, and to get thoughts about it! But I plan on having it filled by my local body shop, and then painted. Professional way! :up:

Cool, man... I like the de-badged look on your tC... And I think smoking the 3rd break light would look good... What'd you use to smoke your tailights anyways?

1. What did you use to tint those lights?
2. Did you do the front too?
3. Is that legal? Couldn't someone if you got in an accident say that they couldn't see your brake lights?

Its just tint, you can see the lights when you hit the brakes :)

You should smoke the 3rd brake light too.

I want to know where you got the stuff to do it! It looks AMAZING.

And where would I find the laws about this for my state/city? The tint level for windows is 35, I'm not sure about those though.

OK....thanks all for the comments and compliments....

1. I had a local shop paint the tails BSP to match my car, its not tint, or spray paint...A guy in cali had a body shop professionaly do then, bake, paint, gloss the works.

2. Im going to have my local shop de-badge the scion logo and fill it in, and im prolly going to bluebat for the 3rd brake light overlay, if its dark enough, if not ill do the same as the tails.

3. NO they are not legal, BUT I have had cops pull me over for tint, but I have a waiver so I tll them to :fu: OFF, And they have not (crosses fingers) sid a damn thing about them yet!!!! YES you can see the tails lights just fine through them, ill post night pics soon, and also finished product when done!! Hope this answers all...more updates to come!!! Thanks again!!

A waiver is a piece of paper given to me by my eye doctor, cause I wear glasses for vision, and I need to wear them when I drive but the sun kills my head! So pretty much he prescribed the tint to me, which makes it legal to have tint on my car!!!

ITS VERY AWESOME!!!! If you go to your eye doctore, just tell him you suffer from bad headachs from the sun cause you cant wear sun glasses, and act dumb like you know nothing about tinting you car!!!
