InJen CAI Short Ram

So I have the Injen CAI but living in Florida, in a low land I chose to make it Short Ram, easy right? Wrong. I forced it in but it doesnt fit well. Its all bolted in correctly i have emailed and been in contact with Injen and they have yet to give me a solution and its been months. The problem is that the filter is crammed under the small lip on the edge of the engine bay. I have taken the intake out and repositioned it several times and no luck same problem top of filter is still in contact with the metal lip of the engine bay. Any ideas on how to fix this?

(Please don't just say "make it full cold air")

Purchase a smaller filter..... that'd be the only other thing I could see as a quick fix...

I agree to buy a smaller filter for a quick fix. Or for a true better fix, buy an actual SRI that was designed for the purpose of being an SRI like the Weapon R SRI. The Weapon R SRI is a very awesome SRI.

About how much do the Weapon Rs cost and do they have bolt on spots for the MAF?
