Antifreeze problem???

Yesterday i noticed that when i put the heater on windshield i immediately start smelling anitfreeze.The first 2-3minutes it also smells like something is burning. The smell goes away after a few minutes. I know it can be a leak by heater core. . What else can it be? I don't leak antifreeze, that i know off...snow, lots of snow here now. I have an 08 tc, 38k miles, n i've had my tc for 2years, 2months now. First time with an issue. So if you have any ideas. Thanks.

p.s. i did check the antifreeze it was half way.
