Hey, I plan on buying my first tc in a couple of months, and I got a couple questions not answered in the other thread.

Can you get the navi in the tc? I didn't see it online and haven't checked out the dealer yet. I was thinking of just going after market anyways since I don't care for pioneer, I'm an alpine man myself.

Is the exhaust worth getting or should I go aftermarket on that?

Same thing on intake?

Is there a fold down cover on the radio? I was looking at some pics on scion.com and it looked like it but it never stated anything.

I live in Enid so Tulsa isn't far away to hook up and check stuff out.

Exhaust/Intake IMO are only worth getting if you are interested in keeping your warranty. But that is just me, I always love my aftermarket parts.

Yes there is a fold down cover on the radio, unless they decided to take it off of the 08's, which would be a crying shame.

There isn't a factory navi unit, but there are plenty of aftermarket options.

Exhausts sound nice but don't add much power unless you go turbo. Factory options are generally wayyyyyy overpriced (same with the intake).

There should still be a fold down cover on the radio. I can't remember for sure, but when I saw the new tC, I am pretty sure there was still the cover.

Good luck getting the car

I think they're gonna start with a dealer navi option in the '08 models.

Common misconception about warrenties. If you put on an aftermarket _________, it doesn't void your warrenty. If you buy an intake and 20,000 miles later your engine blows, the dealership has to proove that the intake caused the damage for it not to be covered under warrenty. Be sure to read up on your warrenty rights. There are laws protecting you.
