Doesn't look very good for me you guys...I didn't order enough paint originally. I ordered another 1/2 gallon to be absolutely sure I don't run out, but the chance that it will get here by Friday or even Saturday is very slim...it might though. Last time I ordered it on Monday and got it the next Tuesday, but I had placed the order around 11 pm Monday night. This time I ordered it around 11 am today, so...it might be here by next Friday...hopefully by next Saturday. If I can't finish in time, I'll still do club participation, but I can't show with half of my interior missing/primered!

I just wanna be done! Here are the projects I have taken on this month (or plan to complete):

re-apholstering the door panels (done)
recovering my speaker box (done)
painting interior parts (this includes sanding, puttying, more sanding, priming, painting, clear coat)
resurfacing my headliner (waiting on Vaughn to come over to resurface his speaker box to do this too)
seat covers (gotta sew)
new grills (done)
new wire loom (waiting on the wiring party!)
new engine cover (done)
new arm rest cover (gotta sew)
new floor mats (on the way, still need paint, maybe)
new pedals (on the way, still need paint, maybe)
changing out the leds in the vents and cupholders (waiting on the wiring party!)
cathodes...everywhere (but with taste) (waiting on the wiring party!)
ground wire kit (waiting on the wiring party!)
license plate frame
new bandana from the rear-view mirror :rofl2:
I think that's it...who knows. I'm so overwhelmed! I had more planned, but Spring Break is over!

drove it home for spring break, yesterday i was cleanin it out and gettin ready to put my rims on when i noticed i had a broken stud on my passenger front side, so i take it in to toyota and they tell me that the car isn't drive-able. 2 cross threaded studs and one completely broken one. So $450 later my car will be ready next tuesday. I have to be in oklahoma by monday for class. so yeah..

Alright I just want to say sorry to everyone that we couldn't stay. For all who don't know I ran into a pallet on the way to the show :cry: and blew out my tire just glad it wasn't worse going over 70 and hitting that I thought my front end was going to be destroyed and my rim would be wrecked, but thank the lord just a blown tire! Then just when we got there my wife called to let me know a good friend of the family just died. Thank you Clay for the wheel and the help. I will get it back to you soon. Vaughn I hope ya like that vinyl I would like to see some pics when you get it on.

Naw man you didn't miss a whole lot. Clay got 2d in Asian 1990-present and Jake and Tina got third, congratulations to all of them. We got 2d in the club competition. Not by no damn 1 car either. They had us way out numbered. Other than that, it was pretty boring. A whole lotta empty space for that little show. I was gonna watch movies, but I cleaned out my car and left the dvds at home. We did miss ya'll though. Hopefully see ya next weekend.

well guys, It wasn't outstanding but I still had fun. It's hard to please us with a car show after going to heat wave or exposed. we really can't expect a show hosted by a tech center to be as good. but it gave us another reason to gather and roll in a convoy :cool1:
and to top it off I got a lot of coments on my caps, probably just as many or more than my old wheels, crazy huh. it was good to see every one again too, especially you guys from tulsa.

Funny thing happened to me on the way home from OKC..... my front driver's side tire decided it was time to go flat. the valve stem popped half way out, causing my car to jerk at like 80mph or so. and of course.... i put my spare on Barry's car that morning. :cry: So brad and i threw his dam doughnut on my xb with like 70 miles left to Tulsa......

Sorry about me not being around! I woke up in Niki's car and the parking lot was empty and then Ryan called and showed up as I was leaving around 6:30...guess I didn't miss much. Jon and I had talked about writing a letter to them advising them that we (Scikotics) would be boycotting all future MNTC car shows due to unfair judging. I would appreciate it if you all took the time to return the survey, or atleast to respond by e-mail and let them know how you felt about the show. I don't think the judging was the only issue, and even if Scikotics never attend another of their shows, I think there is a lot that they need to fix to have a successful car show next year (classes, layout, etc.). Whether you agree with the boycott or not, please respond so we can help them get their shit together for next year so everyone involved has a better experience. Sorry for bringing back a dead thread, thanks for reading.

i do agree that there was some unfairness in the judging, but its one of those things. you lose some you win some, and i don't apreciate what has been said behind my back concerning this show.
